Newsletter 2

The school year is now well underway and the children are really engaged in their learning.  I have had the pleasure of doing a number of learning walks, in all of the classes, and it has been super to see the focus and positive attitude of so many of the children, as they strive to be the best they can be.

Our reception class have settled in beautifully and it is lovely to see them developing friendships and living our school values (love, hope and respect). This was really on show on Tuesday, when Benson (our school dog) came to visit the class.

There are lots of exciting events happening during the remainder of the term, beginning with a group of pupils attending a ‘tag’ rugby festival at Bristol Grammar School and Years 3 and 5 enjoying an African dance workshop, in school.

We look forward to sharing some photographs in future newsletters.

This year, we will be including a new feature to our newsletters ‘You said, so we did…’ This feature will highlight aspects of the school that we are modifying and improving, in response to your feedback.  We are starting with building on the really positive feedback we received about our general standards of behaviour.
