SEND & the Local Offer
Ms Ford was appointed our Special Educational Needs and/or Disability Coordinator in April 2020, when she completed a SEND diploma. In January 2023 she completed her NASENCO (National Award for SEND Coordination).
If you require any further information regarding our provision for pupils with SEND please contact Ms Ford who will be happy to explain the graduated approach we use within our universal provision for all pupils.

NEW for 2024/25: SEND Drop-in sessions
Each term Ms Ford will be holding informal drop-in sessions for any parents/carers who would like to come and ask questions, advice, guidance with regard to SEND. These will be advertised on here as well as in our school newsletters, with posters on class windows. The dates for Terms 1 and 2 are:
Term 1: Tuesday 24th September (in the Nurture Room) Ms Ford will be joined by our new Education Mental Health Partner for the session.
Term 2: Tuesday 26th November (in the Nurture Room)
NSPCWT - A Day of SEND - 23rd October 2024

NSPCWT training, webinars and events for Parents and Carers
'North Somerset Parents Carers Working Together' regularly offer a number of online and face to face events, webinars and training sessions.
