It has been wonderful to welcome all the children back after the holidays. We've had a really busy start to the term and hope that your child was full of excitement and smiles telling you all the news about the new Year 2 classroom and exciting learning that lies ahead.

In Year 2, we will have PE on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Please ensure that your child has a full PE kit in school so that they can take part.

Homework expectations are shared on the document below.

We do expect the children to read at home at least 5 times a week. Reading books can be changed, but only when an adult from home has commented and signed the yellow reading record book. We do encourage children to read for pleasure, listening to stories read by adults, older siblings or use audiobooks. Remember that the library is a great place to visit too.
