It is hard to believe that we have just one more week and we will be breaking up for the Easter holidays. Term 4 has been really busy, but there has been so much to celebrate. Our success in the Rotary competitions continues, with three of our pupils being awarded the top prices in the Young Musician competition.  We have also had great success with our netball and girls’ football teams as they performed brilliantly in their matches and have now progressed on to the regional stages of their competitions.

Our other huge success was in the North Somerset PE Association Dance Festival (at the Weston Playhouse on Tuesday night), where every member of our Year 3 class performed two fantastic dances.  The children’s performances were outstanding and they received thunderous applause and many emotional tears from friends, family and school team in the audience.   Our young people absolutely shone with pride and confidence as they performed their dances, which had been carefully and skilfully choreographed by Miss Green.  This was a clear reflection of how excellence can be achieved in a truly inclusive way, enabling every child to be successful.

Across this term we have had numerous opportunities to see how our vision and values are being lived out through the experiences and achievements of our young people.
