The end of the school year is in sight but there is still lots to look forward to, before we break up for the summer.  On Wednesday, Year 2 are off to the SS Great Britain, Year 6 have their final school production (as well as their final 2 day residential) and we have the much loved ‘Churchill’s Got Talent’, next week. Not to mention Leavers’ services and end of year sports activities.

These activities will top off a special few weeks, where there has been so much to enjoy and celebrate.  After the success of sports day (some photograph highlights below), on Friday the whole school took part in a day of celebrations all linked to the 200th anniversary of Churchill Church of England Primary School. It was so lovely to see the children working together, in groups from Year 6 to Year R, helping each other and having a fun filled day.  Thank you to families who were able to come and join us at the end of the day, it was lovely to be able to share what the children had been learning.

Below is a picture of the completed mural, kindly gifted to the school by Ms Ford.  Matt has worked so incredibly hard, in extreme heat, to finish this beautiful mural, celebrating the 200 years of our school.
