We are excited to share that we have recently started to use Picture News as a resource to support our worship.  This resource provides opportunities for our children to explore world issues and current affairs, sparking their interest in
the world around them.  Each week the children will have the opportunity to learn more about the world around them, in a child-friendly way.  Picture News finds the positives in current affairs by turning world events into learning opportunities. The primary resources are specially tailored to children aged 5-11.  

Picture News packs also help to effectively explain British Values to our pupils, as the resources demonstrate these values in action in the real world through news topics.  

By exploring and debating topical issues, our pupils are also able to exercise British Values by learning to respect and tolerate the views of people around them.
