Phonics
Phonics is our 'toolkit' that we use with the children to learn to read and write. We follow the scheme 'Unlocking Letters and Sounds' and the children have a daily phonics lesson in which a new sound is taught/revised and we apply new learning to reading and writing.
These resources may help you to further embed learning at home.
We are in the process of creating a presentation that will help explain phonics further. This will be put on tapestry for you to access throughout the year.
