Year 3

Welcome 2023 - 2024

 

It has been wonderful to welcome all the children back after the holidays. We've had a really busy start to the term and hope that your child was full of excitement and smiles telling you all the news about the new Year 3 classroom and exciting learning that lies ahead.

 

  • In Year 3, we will have PE twice a week (TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY) Please ensure that your child has a full PE kit in school so that they can take part.

 

  • Homework will be set on a Friday and due in the following Thursday. If you have any queries about your child's homework, please let us know.

 

  • We do expect the children to read at home at least 5 times a week. Reading books can be changed daily, 

 

  • Please see the attached welcome powerpoint for any additional information about Year 3.
