Welcome 2021/2022
It has been wonderful to welcome your children back after the holidays and see how much they've grown and matured!
We've had a really busy first week back and we hope that your child was full of excitement and smiles telling you all their news about the new Year 1 classroom and exciting learning that lies ahead.
In Year 1 and during Term 1, we will have PE on a Friday. Please ensure that your child has a full PE kit in school so that they can take part.
Homework will be set on a Friday and due in the following Tuesday. If you have any queries about your child's homework, please let us know. Remember, there are bonus house points available if homework is handed in on a Monday morning.
We do expect the children to read at home at least 5 times a week. Reading books are changed on a Monday and Thursday, but only when an adult from home has commented and signed the yellow reading record book.
