Welcome 2020/2021

We have really been looking forward to welcoming the children back after such a long time away from school. It was a busy first day and we hope that your child was full of excitement and smiles telling you all their news about the new Year 1 classroom, although Pod B were slightly more at home inside the Year 1 classroom, and exciting learning that lies ahead.

In Year 1, we will have PE twice a week (Thursday and Friday) Please ensure that your child has a full PE kit in school so that they can take part.

Homework will be set on a Friday and due in the following Monday. If you have any queries at all about your child's homework, please let us know.

We do expect the children to read at home at least 5 times a week. Reading books can be changed daily, but only when an adult has commented and signed the yellow reading record book.
